I believe the objects we live with every day should be both beautiful and useful. Inspired by the things I find close to home, I create handmade ceramics meant to become part of daily rituals and shared meals. Pieces that feel at home holding fresh flowers, summer berries, or a favorite morning coffee.
Each piece is made in my home studio just outside Chicago and finished by hand. My work combines wheel throwing, handbuilding, and slip casting using thoughtfully curated vintage molds. I love moving between these techniques, choosing the process that best serves each form while preserving the warmth and character of handmade ceramics.
Iām endlessly inspired by things that get better with age: the patina of old silver, worn marble, aged wood, weathered pottery, well-loved cookbooks, and homes that feel collected over time. My hope is that the pieces I make become part of those same stories: used often, shared generously, and treasured for years to come.
